2014 Convention Coverage

In 2013, University of Tennessee journalism professor Nick Geidner launched the Medal of Honor Project as a service-learning program devoted to covering the 2014 Medal of Honor Convention held in Knoxville, Tenn. Our students’ coverage culminated in a 45-minute documentary about the event that aired on WBIR, Knoxville’s NBC affiliate. In addition to the documentary, our students produced live streaming coverage of convention, short-form video content, long-form video interviews with Medal of Honor recipients, print stories, and photos. Feel free to browse our work from the 2014 Medal of Honor Convention.
