Read more →Recipients in town early were treated to dinner at the Knoxville staple, Litton’s, tonight. The eight recipients were joined by members of the Executive Committee of the 2014 Medal of Honor Convention and the representatives of the 2015 Boston convention.
The first official event of the 2014 Medal of Honor Convention is one week away! The Character Development Program Dinner kicks off the convention Tuesday night at Neyland Stadium on the campus of the University of Tennessee. The event will celebrate students and teachers from across the state whom have taken part in the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation‘s Character Development Program, a school-based program teaching the concepts of commitment and community service.
There will be numerous public and private events for the recipients during the rest of the week. The Medal of Honor Project will live stream the following events on our website:
